Complaints on luxurious products sold in real shop and online shop
Written by James dong
Recently, there has been a scandal involving Da Vinci Furniture, a retailer of “high-fashion furniture brands” including “Versace Home, Fendi Casa, Kenzo Maison, Cerruti and many more” with “mega-stores” in “Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and China”, according to their official website .
But now the company was suspected of selling poor-quality fake foreign products as luxurious products at really high prices.
Now the industrial and commercial administration bureau was investigating the case. Some of the furniture was proved to be made in a factory in Dongguan in Guangdong province in China, not imported from Italy, Spain and the United States directly as the company claimed.
Many customers spent millions on the famous brand furniture were claiming refund, which did not get any response from the General Manager of Da Vinci.
Have you thought about any fraud cases in E-business regarding luxurious products?
Nowadays, more and more luxurious products were sold online, some of them are real and some products are fake products, which were similar to the real brand products, such as perfume, branded watches.
Online shop is a good way for selling fake luxurious products at a lower price than the real one.
Many people are attracted by the low price, while in e-business; they may not know what kind of products they may receive, a good quality real one or just a fake one similar to the real one.
For luxurious products, which are of great value, all the managerial departments need to implement strict policies on checking such products no matter in real shop or online shop or in foreign trade through B2B business portals.
IBUonline is an innovative B2B portal, and many suppliers and buyers posted product information and company information, including expensive products.
The customers need to distinguish the products and try to check the certificates before making purchasing.
