...In the past even though I knew what compassion was, I really didn't understand and didn't use its POWER. I thought that being kind and nice to people, feel sorry about them, is what I need to do. It turned out this is not what it really is. It is being kind, nice of course, but not in a way I thought...

When studying the Bible, philosophy, psychology and other subjects about self growth and evolution you could find lots of examples of "the importance of compassion", however I found this subject most of the time boring and didn’t really pay a lot of attention.

In this article I'm going to share with you some interesting insights and put it in a very easy, simple way.


#1 What is the power of compassion?

As you may know we normally look at others and see them as separate and different and so start thinking in a way, which can be judgmental, putting them in categories, labelling, comparing, criticizing... and the list goes on and on. However the feeling of compassion gives you the ability to look at someone and say to yourself: “I am capable of being, looking or acting as you, as I’m human too.” … Even when you look at someone who has done something horrible, you would look without a judgment and have the knowledge that you are also "capable" of doing it. This is how a compassionate person can think and look at others.

It is like looking through God’s eyes. This is so profound. It makes you align with God, Universe or Source when you are able to do it. It gives you health and positive inner calm.

#2 What are the benefits of being able to activate compassion within you?

When you are in alignment with your Higher Self you connect to your inner peace, and so become confident, happy, healthy, attract wealth, and bring amazing people into your life. You have access to creative ideas and create your life in a best way possible.

#3 Why life becomes easy when you are able to connect to the power of compassion?

Life becomes easy when you are in the flow. It seems like everything happens with ease. It seems that life becomes effortless and you eliminate struggle.

...These are very short answers to the questions. There are many complicated books written, and of course you could go and read them. Just before you do, I'd like to give you further insights on why it is such a great deal. You see when you judge someone it is the same as you judge yourself and I'll tell you why...

...Our mind at the deepest level doesn’t understand the difference between words like “I” and “you”, or “we” and “us”… This is important to know, as when you judge yourself - you judge all and when you judge someone else - you judge yourself. This is how your mind interprets your thoughts. This is how the mind works without divisions and without separations.

So what I’ll think about you will affect how I think about myself or other way around.

For example you may think: "I'd like to see him punished over what he just did." Your mind interprets: "I'd like to see me punished over what I just did."

When you see this and deeply understand, you can see the importance and also the power in it. It is not only we have to develop compassion towards others; it is also vital to be compassionate towards ourselves.

To sum up the most important points:

When you judge yourself - you judge all. When you judge all - you judge yourself. There are no exclusions!

When you practise compassion you are in alignment with your Higher Self, God, Universe or Source.

When you think of others and yourself in a loving, forgiving, non-judgmental and kind way - you tap into the flow of life. Life becomes easy when you are connected to the power of compassion. This is how you find happiness, health, wealth and inner peace.

If you are interested in the Law of Attraction, this is one of the areas, that might hold you back from manifesting things that you desire in life. When you are far from the feelings of compassion towards yourself or others, you can’t access the flow of the source energy, the energy which creates, attracts and manifests the physical world.

It might be hard at first to look at people and think: “Yes – I’m capable of doing, being, acting, looking like that - as I’m human too. “ Giving the same conditions, circumstances, body, lifestyle, mind, beliefs... However I'm sure you can give it a go and see how you start feeling. It will be an amazing experience, and I don't want you to miss out. The benefits are just too great! :)

The affirmation:

I see the BEST and leave the REST.

This proper understanding of the power of compassion changed my life. I feel much more at ease with people, I find myself enjoying company of people rather than picking up some negativity or finding faults. The way I look at people in general and me has changed beyond what I would ever expect. It completely transformed my life and me as a person. Even today after realizing this incredible power I meditate often on compassion and practise it as much as I can.

...Just have a go. It will become easier each time you do. After practising this point of view, it will become as a habit to you and instead of judging, you will start seeing the qualities in others and you, you've never seen before. It is a truly transformational experience!
There would be no wars and only peace on this planet, if people would deeply understand the power of compassion and practise it.
