Control Nausea or Vomiting By Using Motilium

Sometimes it happens that people start feeling nausea or feel like they are about to vomit. We always wish that we can control this problem. Mostly, it happens when we go to heights. But, we can take medicine to control the vomit. But we always confused which medicine to take. At that time it is always wise to take motilium. Motilium not only help in controlling nausea or vomiting but also used to delay gastric empting or dyspepsia.

Motilium contains domperidone which is a medicine known as dopamine antagonist. It is used to control uncomfortable symptoms of stomach bloating, reflux in adults and fullness. Always take motilium as prescribed by your doctor. You should always remember that everyone has different body type and thus everybody is given the medicine according to their body type. The dose of motilum varies from person to person according to their problem and its treatment. One should take the motilium with water and you just need to swallow it.

Also, you should remember motilium must be taken before meal and not after the meal as if you take motilium after the meal it takes longer span of time to work for that meal. Never exceed the prescribed dose and if the medicine is not working for you then tell your doctor about it immediately. Sometimes it happen if you get faint or your heart beat gets fastened then it is necessary for you to straight away tell your doctor and not take any further dose.

One should remember not to use motilium when there is decreased liver function. Also, you should give this medicine to children who are less than 4 years or if there is weight is less than 15 kg and also avoid giving this medicine to children weighing less than 35kg as it may happens sometime motilium not suit to people who are less than 35kg. Read the integrants of the medicine carefully before taking it as if you are allergic to it anyone of them then ask for substitute from your doctor. Don’t use motilium if you are pregent. Also, if you feed your infant than it may happen this medicine may passes into breast milk and may harm your baby. So avoid taking this medicine during the period of breast feeding. There are certain side effects which are associated with this medicine are stomach problem like cramps in your stomach, decreased sex drive in men, neverousness, rashes, itchy skin, sleepiness, headache, allergy reaction or headache.

If you suffer from such problems then stop taking this medicine. Also, if you take this medicine with other medicine then tell your doctor about it. Store the motilium away from heat, light and moisture.
