Cosmetic Surgery Makes Women Look Younger and Feel Great
Written by Patricia Jones
Cosmetic surgery makes women look younger and feel great. Attaining the perfect figure is no longer something that celebrities and models alone do. What’s more, women who would find it difficult to afford a particular procedure have financing options such as CareCredit® open to them. Your cosmetic surgeon would tell you about them. In short, it’s easier now than before for women to opt for procedures that would enhance their looks and boost their confidence level.
Fat Removal and Body Sculpting to Restore a Youthful Look
Cosmetic surgery in the 21st century is not just about getting rid of excess fat; it is also about getting proportionate, sculpted and attractive contours. A well-sculpted figure takes years off from a woman’s appearance and makes her take pride in herself. The following are three examples of aesthetic surgeries which help in this respect.
Liposuction – Liposuction in its beginnings was performed with large instruments. Though it was possible to remove a lot of fat with these instruments, the results were often irregular, there was a lot of bleeding, swelling and bruising from the surgical site and patients had a long recovery period. Today we hear about safer liposuction techniques such as tumescent liposuction, Smartlipo and VASER.
- Tumescent Liposuction – This technique involves the injection of a large quantity of dilute anesthetic and other medicine into the fat deposit prior to liposuction. In addition to the benefit of minimal risk associated local anesthesia, the solution facilitates localized vasoconstriction that practically does away with surgical bleeding during the procedure. In this procedure, the cosmetic surgeon is able to precisely eliminate both superficial and deep fat layers without traumatizing the patient.
- VASER – VASER lipo performed using the VASER® system is liposelective. The system utilizes high grade ultrasound to destroy and detach fat cells for removal without injuring vital tissue. The VASER technique ensures that the suctioned unwanted fat cells are in a good condition so as to be used for fat transfer at a later period of time if the patient should feel the need for it. Both small and large amounts of fat can be removed with VASER® cosmetic surgery.
- Smartlipo – Smartlipo, performed with the Smartlipo Triplex™ system provides for high-definition body contouring. The highlights of liposuction performed with this system are:
- effective fat elimination and skin tightening because of the work of three wavelengths
- no over treatment, and reduced surgical trauma because of three smart delivery systems
- short procedure time and downtime
- suitability for fibrous areas, small and big fat deposits and secondary liposuction requirements
Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck) – It is a procedure resorted to get rid of excess fat and skin from the lower abdomen and to tighten the fascia and muscles of the abdominal wall. The surgery would result in a tighter abdomen after eliminating wrinkled or loose skin. In fact, the typical candidate for the procedure is someone who has sagging skin or loose tissue as a consequence of quick and considerable weight loss or pregnancy. An abdominoplasty can also improve to an extent, the way stretch marks look.
Augmentation Gluteoplasty – This is cosmetic surgery to increase the size and improve the shape of flat buttocks. The Brazilian butt lift is a natural and less risky technique of buttock enhancement compared to using implants. The procedure involves using low vacuum, light liposuction to remove fat from regions of the body where it is in excess (such as the abdomen, thighs or hips). The removed fat is purified and a select portion of this purified fat introduced through a series of injections into different parts of the gluteal muscle (buttocks muscle). The fat is peppered in such a manner as to ensure that each fat cell has adequate blood supply.
Maintain Realistic Expectations
Women can look younger and feel great with a cosmetic surgery procedure that suits their requirements. It is important that those planning for the surgery should maintain realistic expectations regarding the results.
