Couple Wed With Help Of DWVC

Back in September 2006 the Timelinx reservations office received a request for a large group booking from two of it´s members. As members of Designer Way Vacation Club (DWVC), Andrew and Elizabeth Singleton wanted to book flights and accommodation for themselves and another 56 friends and family for their daughter’s wedding, of course Timelinx were only too happy to help (Timelinx Travel Services PLC are the service provider for DWVC and are a wholesale and retail supplier of travel services and bonded by ABTA, ATOL and IATA amongst others). The previous year Michelle and Craig (the soon to be hitched couple) had stayed at the Iberostar Ledra Beach Hotel in Paphos, Cyprus and liked it so much that they decided it would be an ideal venue for their wedding and honeymoon combined. nn nnnFrom its prime beachfront location, you’d think the beach had been built around the Ledra. With a breathtaking position on the smooth, silky sands, the hotel offers chic accommodation right by the sea. The staff are friendly and attentive. The lobby is lavishly clad in marble and it’s tempting to sink into one of its plump sofas that offers stunning views across the pool, past the shores and out to sea. It also has an elegant indoor pool area with luxurious beds to stretch out on, the room has floor-to-ceiling glass, capturing those faraway ocean views. There’s a kids-club, a playground and outdoor activities and a separate children’s pool that should keep even the most demanding children amused. It’s little wonder they were so taken with the hotel.nMichelle and Craig discussed their plans with Andy and Liz and asked them their thoughts. The answer was simple, “why not”. With the savings that would be had through being members of DWVC, Andy and Liz were keen to book the flights and accommodation through Timelinx. Understandable really when the father of the bride has to stump up the cash for the wedding. After eight months planning and numerous emails and telephone calls between Andy and Liz, Timelinx’s reservation centre and the Ledra, all 58 members of the wedding party were flown out to Paphos and witnessed a lovely wedding in the glorious sunshine and got a holiday in a top notch hotel to boot. nn nSeen above are Michelle and Craig Edge and their daughter Georgia Edge.
