Create A New Foundation For Your Business
Written by April Coggins
Give your business a push to the next level of success. You need to create a new foundation for your business and in order to do that, you will need to analyze yourself. It seems so obvious to find the weaknesses of your business. Where are your problems in the infrastructure? Do you need more funds? These are the tangible things that you think you can easily solve. But what about the issues that lie within you, the business owner? These are problems more difficult to pinpoint, typically. However, they can make a big difference in the success of your business.
Build a foundation for your business with a stronger sense of self-confidence. Any new business owner will have some moments of doubt and worries. However, it’s what you do with those fears and doubts that can make or break your business. From the smallest questions to the big steps to push your business forward, you need self-confidence and in order to have self-confidence, you need self-esteem.
Self-esteem and self-confidence can have long-reaching positive effects on your business. Just like you need to have sufficient funds and management skills with your business, having an abundance of self-confidence can help your company succeed. Whether you are a first-time business owner or have had years in your industry, increasing your self-confidence translates directly into a stronger business.
Eliminate the fears, doubts and other self-eliminating thoughts and actions with your business. You can find creative and smart ways to tackle your issues with your business. Talk with other industry professionals to seek other knowledgeable ways to solve your problems. In order to start on the process of solving your problems, however, you need to have the gumption and resolve to jump into figuring out the issues head-on. And the best way to do that is with plenty of resolve and a good dose of self-confidence.
One quick way to boost your confidence is to create, and maintain, a SUCCESS journal. First, list the Top 10 Greatest Accomplishments in your life thus far. These are strictly based on your beliefs not anyone else’s idea of what success should be. List the 10 things you are the most proud of that you’ve done.
Now, I want you to list all the things you’re naturally good at, things people have complimented you on, things that tend to come easily to you. (ex: sports, writing, event planning, listening, organization etc.) If you’re really feeling brave, you can ask three people you really trust to answer that question about you as well.
Finally, I’d like you to make a list of things that you’ve learned in your life. Things you’ve studied and mastered. (Ex driving, accounting, customer service, computer programming, etc.)
I think you’ll be surprised at what you’ve already accomplished and learned over the course of your life. You’ve had many successes… and you can have many more. Watch your business take off when you create a new foundation for your business full of self-confidence and resolve today.
