Creativity In Kids Should Be Encouraged From Childhood Days

Creativity is something that cannot be created at any age. It is an inborn trait with which a child is gifted by God. So, it is essential for parents and teachers to discover child skills and nurture this special gift. Kids are naturally creative and love to do innovative things. Their hands and minds can come up with great ideas because they have the capability to do it. Parents should explore their children by giving creative material like art and craft. Allowing children do their art work has the benefit of learning from nature as they work. Being a parent, it is not always necessary to plan every activity allow the children to use their imagination and decide what they want to do.

It is quite very necessary to take proper care of kids’ liking and disliking. If the kids are fond of coloring then provides them with all the material and let them draw on their own. Involve your children in a daily and weekly activity and talk with them. In that get together you can discuss about a story without telling the climax and than you ask the kids to end the story or what would be the climax. Teach them the process of brainstorming which enables them to find out a solution when they are stuck with a problem. Encourage your kid to ask as many question as possible like from where the electricity come from? But at the same time make certain that you give the right answer. You should ask your child to draw the strangest picture of a dog or some other animal .These kinds of activities not only encourage creativity, but they also demonstrate that determination for perfection.

Fostering creativity in the children also needs creativity from our part. The children might get frustrated while showing their effort but you should sustain that zeal by telling that everyone face difficulty and even adults need time and practice to do new things. The children should get ample opportunities without limitation of the resources. Provide your child with learning oriented toys, finger paints or clay that can be a great fun and develop their skills. Creativity also requires freedom and there should not be any obligation.

The other ways of making your kids more creative is to let them do a play. Let them do all the planning right from execution to production. This will show their interest in social work and their enthusiasm to complete any task. Always keep in mind that you don’t have to produce your child’s creativity, the only thing you need to do is to join them. Child should also be provided with various experiences in order to foster creativity in them. Creativity also has the connection with information. A child should have enough information to execute any task. Creativity comprises of ideas and experience and knowledge refers to storing ideas and information. The learning is the combination of both creativity and knowledge. Every child has the ability to think and learn through creative activities. One of the best ways to nurture child’s creativity is the parents’ involvement in their world of fantasy.
