Exercise also does wonders for your state of mind and your overall well being.

2. Meditation

While most people think of a guru sitting crossed legged when we talk about meditation, nothing could be further from the truth. Although its a spiritual practice that's been practiced by various religions for centuries, its a "tool" that you can use to get control over your mind. Meditation allows you to still your mind, to get quiet and to still the noise of everyday life. In this space you can find a sense of inner peace which is essential if you want to conquer anxiety.

3. Spirituality

Its been said that there is a spiritual solution to every problem in your life. Whether you believe it or not is quite a different story but one thing is for sure: spirituality will help you to reconnect with your true self. Underneath the flesh and bones that you see in the mirror is the "real you" which is free from problems and anxiety. Spirituality will help you to find God within yourself which can be very powerful in transcending this thing called anxiety.
