Curing Hemorrhoids â Is a Natural Cure For Hemorrhoids Really Possible?
Written by Dr.Bruce Searle
Curing hemorrhoids becomes an urgent priority in your life if you have one or more of them. If you feel pain in your anus part or lower rectum there is a strong possibility that you are suffering from hemorrhoids. The word hemorrhoids is also listed in some writings as hemmoroids (without the second “h”), as well as hemroids.
But, if you have hemorrhoids, you aren’t going to care how someone spells it! You just want to know how you can find a way of curing hemorrhoids – naturally and fast!
Hemorrhoids can bring severe pain, inconvenience, and embarrassment to a person, so it’s best to understand their nature and effects on your body so that you will have a real grasp on what is involved in getting rid of this painful enemy.
According to Wikipedia “hemorrhoids are normal vascular structures in the anal canal which help with stool control”. They become a problem when they are swollen or when enlarged varicose veins are evidenced around the anus area. Swollen hemorrhoids are also known as piles.
There are two types of hemorrhoids, namely:
• INTERNAL HEMORRHOIDS which develop around the lower rectum (the end part of the large intestine leading to the anus). Internal hemorrhoids are hard to determine and can be confused with some internal disorders.
• EXTERNAL HEMORRHOIDS which are found near the anal opening. These are easily identified.
Like many other physical disorders or sicknesses, curing hemorrhoids can be achieved through medical as well as natural treatment. Getting rid of hemorrhoids the natural way is less expensive, but severe pain coupled with presence of blood when excreting solid waste requires medical attention from medical experts.
In curing hemorrhoids naturally, the first essential is relieving the pain and discomfort. Obviously, once that is achieved, the second goal is to get rid of the hemorrhoids completely. Success using natural means is absolutely possible in most cases. Included among the suggested methods for treating hemorrhoids are the following:
• take tub baths using lukewarm water or soak your anal part in lukewarm water for about 5 to 10 minutes
• include a lot of fiber and fluid in your diet. Some high fiber fruits include apples with skin, strawberries and blueberries.
• soak a tissue or cotton ball with witch hazel and gently rub on the area affected by hemorrhoids to ease the pain.
• calendula is popular for its medical as well as herbal properties, and this can be used for curing hemorrhoids the natural way. Mix calendula with water for your bath.
• mixing mashed banana with milk is another natural method. Mix the mashed banana with a cup of milk, bring it to the boil and let it cool down then apply it to the area.
• make a paste out of Comfrey root powder or a paste of Calendula and apply it on the affected area. They have herbal properties that are known to help in curing hemorrhoids.
While it is evident that some people have had success in curing their hemorrhoids by some of these natural means, it is also evident that these particular suggested methods can fall short on many occasions, leaving the hemorrhoid sufferer to struggle on in agony, continuing to experiencing the pain and humiliation which this condition can bring.
