Exercises To Do On Your Own

DANCE YOUR PRAYER

ime for Exercise: five to 15 minutes

Properties Required: selection of music for dancing

Steps:

  1. Select music for the mood you wish to create, anything from gospel to rock and roll.
  2. Imagine a conversation you’d like to have with God, which would include, for example, something you wish to thank God for, something you are angry with God about, something you wish to ask God for, or something you want to offer God.
  3. Turn on the music and express your prayer non-verbally through body movements.
  4. Dance until your inner guide says you are finished.

Variation:

Do this with your lover, both of you dancing the same or different prayers.

Comments:

Since you might dance for a short or long time, be prepared with a selection of music an hour or more in length.
