Dr. Dr. Romance,

I have strong feelings for my boss, he's 10 years older than me. I cannot explain why I have these feelings or why I think of him ....He's still my boss kinda, I'm working on a new mission and have a different boss now, its not the same. I miss my boss, I wander if he misses me too! What do you think?

Dear Reader:

I think you're probably lonely, and because of that, you imagine the good connection you had with your former boss to be something more. I doubt if he shares the feelings, because he would have let you know. You need to take this as a sign that you need more social contact than just your work life. Find a project, hobby or interest outside work. Take a class in something that interests you, and begin meeting people and making friends beyond work.  "Make New Friends, Keep Good Friends" for more information on how to do this. Please don't continue to indulge in this fantasy about your boss. Get a real life instead.  It Ends With You: Grow Up and Out of Dysfunction will show you how to do it.

Once you have an active social life, it will lead you to the relationship you long for.
