Once your child has outgrown cartoon character themed designs, it is time to update your kid’s bedroom. Revamping your child’s bedroom may seem like a daunting task but it really isn’t. Teenage bedroom furniture is available in all different styles if you only know where to find them.

First you should consult your teen about their style and design preferences. While you may not have the same aesthetic as your teenager, the room should reflect their preferences. The bed needs to leave enough space in the room for other items like a computer desk, a dresser, night stands, and other accessories your teenager might have in mind. The furnishings must fit in the room with enough space around them to easily move around. You want your child to feel cozy in their newly furnished room, not claustrophobic.

Discuss the color scheme of the new room with your child. Would they prefer neutral colored walls with boldly patterned bedding or perhaps mirrored furniture?
