Depression major problem found in youth

Depression is a serious illness than just a low mood. The term depression can be defined as unhappy, blue, miserable or down in the dumps and feeling sad. The above mentioned conditions can be observed for short or for some long time. People suffering from depression finds it difficult to perform their day to day activity and also lost their interest in the activities once they enjoyed. Whatever the symptoms of it but it is different from normal sadness. This influence your activity very deeply like study, eating, sleeping and enjoy with friends.
Signs and symptoms of depressio
The problem of this diseases may vary from person to person. Although it vary from person to person but there are some common signs and symptoms. Common signs and symptoms of depression are:-
1) Sleep changes
2) Loss of energy
3) Concentration problems
4) Feelings of helplessness and hopelessness
5) Appetite or weight changes
6) Irritability or restlessness
7) Self-loathing
8) Unexplained aches and pains
9) Loss of interest in daily activities.
10) Thought of suicide or suicide attempt
There is one very important thing to remember that all the above mentioned symptoms can be part of normal low life, but if you have more symptoms or as many the problem may takes the serious mode. When this problem is disabling then take the advise of your doctor or health care professionals.
If you don’t take care of this in the early stages this can lead to major or big problem. It is very sad to mention it that the people suffering from this problem cannot be diagnose that is there can be no brain scan or blood test. Diagnoses of depression is given to person if he is persistently in low mood that constantly influence his every day activity. General practitioners, psychiatrist, psychotherapists and counsellors are the people who are specialized to deal with the people suffering from depression. This problem is very common in women as compared to men. One out of four women do require treatment for this.
Treatment for depressio
Once we go through the phase of time we do not find any body to whom we can share our problem and can tell us the solution for that problem. In that case you need professional help. There are different type of treatment that is medication and talking therapies (psychotherapy). In medication form Zoloft is the best and most trusted medicine recommended by the doctor for the treatment of this problem. It is a prescription medicine used for the treatment of depression. Zoloft is available in both form that is in tablet and oral concentrate. Before using this medication you should know that, it should not be used in people who are suffering from kidney, heart and liver diseases. It should not be used in pregnant women or breast feeding mothers.
Do not take this medication with other drugs like warfarin, Clozapine, Tolbutamide, Pimozide, Adrenergics nad etc. Before using Zoloft medicine you should tell your doctor that if you are taking any prescription non prescription and herbal medicine. It is a prescription medicine and should be taken as prescribed by the doctor. Take this medication with a full glass of water, before or after meal.
