The problems related to stomach and process of digestion is very common these days. Stomach is the most important organ of the body as it is responsible for releasing a certain amount of acid into the stomach. The acid release by the stomach break down the nutrients and vitamins so that they can be secreted into the blood stream. It is very important there should be proper balance of certain level of acidity, but sometimes the process in the stomach that control acid secretion don't function properly that further lead too secreation of acid into the stomach. Person suffeing from stomach and intestinal problems most frequently suffer from problem of heartburn, gas, indigestion and reflux are caused by overproduction of stomach acid.

Diet, people are so buy with there work that do no take proper food and increased consumption of spicy foods and oily foods increases the level of acid production in the stomach. If you consume foods that are very rich in fiber content, it takes a long time for the food to pass through the stomach. As a result, the acid production continues until the stomach is emptied, resulting in increased amount of acid in the stomach. Stomach ulcer or cancers that increase the production of gastrin automatically increase the acid production.Stress is the major cause for a great number of ailments in the body. It is found that individuals who are severely stressed produce increased amounts of acid in the stomach. Bacterial infection by the bacterium H. pylori is also found to increase the acid production.

Aciphex is a prescription medicine used for the treatment of of excessive acid production in the stomach. Take his medicine with a full glass of water with or without food. It should be takn as prescribed by the doctor. The dosage recommended for Aciphex medicine in adults is 20 mg once in a day. The dosage of the medicine should not be increased on your own as it may lead to serious side effect. The tablet should not be crushed, chewed or broken and should be swallowed as a whole.
