Do You Know Effective Herbal Treatments for Curing Acidity or Acid Reflux?

Acidity is usually related to gas formation and heartburn. Acid reflux or acidity refers to the movement of the gastric acids (that are caring acid) from our stomach to the lower esophagus. When the acidic contents from the stomach are moving upward in the esophagus they make it dysfunctional and provoke acidity. It is very important to determine exactly the factors that lead to acidity in time because in this way you can use the most effective treatments.
Chocolate, alcohol, irregular eating habits, smoking, caffeine are some of the most common factors that provoke acidity problems. Acidity can be also provoked by pregnancy, obesity, aging, junk food, too.
Persons that have acidity problems often experience burning sensations in their chest and stomach.
If you want to keep acidity under control it is recommended to drink 2 glasses of water on empty stomach. This is a very healthy habit that can help you to get rid of many other problems not only by acidity.
Tulsi, known as holy basil, too, has also the property to keep acidity under control. If you consume a few leaves of holy basil you will get an immediate relief and more on, you can keep acidity problems away.
You can also control acidity with a tablespoon of Alma and one of haritaki. Alma capsules are also very beneficial. If you merely keep some haritaki in your mouth after your main meals you will feel a great relief immediately.
Honey and apple cider vinegar are two of the oldest and the most efficient remedies. Used in curing different health problems they are also very efficient in curing acidity, too. Mix two tablespoons of honey with a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and take this mixture before each meal.
Mint oil or mint juice is known as another great natural remedy for acidity. Take one glass of mint juice after each meal and the gas formation will be reduced.
Fruits like watermelon, banana, cucumber or papaya are of a great help in reducing gas formation and acidity.
A regular consuming of coconut water, raw garlic, cold milk, or almonds will provide you a great relief from heartbu
and acidity.
Take some gur (jaggery) at every hour and acidity will be much reduced.
Mix a tablespoon of coriander juice with half a glass of butter milk and drink it daily. This remedy will help you to keep acidity under control.
Ginger is a miraculous remedy for all kinds of stomach problems. It is endowed with great medicinal properties that proved very efficient and beneficial in curing acidity. You can prepare a traditional tea in which you can add ginger or you can drink ginger juice sweeten with honey after your meals. Both remedies have the great property to cure acidity and to help at a proper digestion.
Mint juice is another remedy used in curing acidity and heartburn. Consumed on regular basis, mint juice can prevent the hyperacidity successfully. If you are chewing some basil leaves after your meals the acidity will be always kept under control.
