Does It Seem Like Your Ex Has Built a Brick Wall Between the Two of You?
Written by Steve Steiner
Does it seem like the harder you try to get in contact with your ex, the more difficult it is? I know what you’re going through. I got dumped myself several years ago, and let me tell you, it seemed like I had to break through brick walls just to get my ex-girlfriend to return a phone call or even take notice of me.
Well, I’m going to tell you today exactly why that doesn’t work and what you can do to change things.
You see, your ex is probably giving you the cold shoulder because they wants space away from the relationship. I don’t care what reason your ex told you for dumping you, when you boil it all down, they really just want space away from the relationship.
Now, I understand that you really want to win back your ex’s love and make things better again, but you need to wrap your mind around the fact that this is the exact opposite of what your ex wants.
By trying to pull your ex closer, when they just want more space, you end up just pushing them further away. They think that you don’t understand that they want this space to themselves, so they feel that they need to increase the distance between the two of you even more.
This, of course just creates a vicious circle where you keep trying to pull them closer and they keep moving further away.
It is enough to make you feel so incredibly frustrated that you feel like you need to do something drastic just to get their attention.
But you see, you really just need to break this cycle and actually give your ex the space that they are asking for and it can completely change the way that they respond to you.
This might seem a little bit scary, trust me, I’ve been there myself. But this will give you the results you are looking for.
When you stop trying to reach out to your ex, you actually give them what they are asking for (space away from the relationship), and you are giving them the opportunity to miss you.
That’s right, although they left you, by cutting all contact with them, they will actually start to miss you. They might even try to get back in touch with you after a few weeks.
I know that this seems incredibly risking, and that you are probably afraid that they might just drift away from you, but trust me this works like a charm.
The real challenge though is to stay strong and resist the temptations you might have to contact your ex.
So, you see that the secret to actually getting through to your ex isn’t to try harder to connect with them. It is actually by doing the exact opposite. By simply letting them have all the space away from you that they want, they may actually discover that they miss you and they might just come back to you.

Dr. Venus Nicolino: You Have To Make Yourself Available To Find Good Relationships
The idea of making yourself more desirable by making yourself less available doesn't make a lot of sense when you think about it. After all, Juliet would have plunged a premature dagger into the heart of her romance with Romeo if she hid in her room rather than go out on her balcony. The end of Sleepless in Seattle shifts from "awww" to "aw, no" if one of the two main characters skips the trip to the Empire State Building. As these examples from fiction show, making yourself
