Don't Settle For Being Common

Excellence Is The Antidote Used To Stop The Deadly Disease Called Mediocrity.
I've observed that the majority of individuals live by a "just good enough" mentality. This paradigm (way of believing) has aborted more dreams than any other I know. Achieving your dreams means refusing to be "just good enough." A casual attitude toward life will only lead you to a place of disappointment and defeat. Mediocrity has infected society. It's like a magnetic pull on mankind. "It's good enough," rolls off most people's lips, rationalizing what they know could be done better or even extraordinarily.
When everyone does "good enough," then no one really does well, and failure is on the horizon. The moment you do not press forward, you drift backward. There is no neutral ground. You either embrace excellence or mediocrity at any given moment.
Complacency:
Learn to fight this complacent spirit and choose to revolt against the giant named 'status quo.' Those who surrender to mediocrity have been deceived into believing they can go no further. Many people believe the lie that the rewards of excellence are insignificant in comparison to the price they must pay.
Status Quo:
There is more to life than status quo. The desire to excel is really the desire for a fuller, richer, and more abundant life. Becoming the best is an invitation to everyone. Many quickly imprison that desire, but its distant cries can always be heard and must be respected. Therefore you must give yourself over to the constant pursuit of excellence.
Action Steps:
1. Take a personal assessment and write down three areas you have settled for status quo
2. Write dow
1 action you can implement immediately that will cause immediate change.
3. Share the three areas you identified with one other person.
