If you find that you are constantly kicking yourself about the one that got away, then now's the time to stop that from ever happening again!

It doesn't matter whether you were dating them and screwed up, or they were attracted to you and you didn't take action. Either way you did some key things wrong that caused them to leave your life completely and leave you with regrets. Here are some things to start paying attention to so that never happens again.

Not Having Time For Them

This is when you don't pay attention to the person who is attracted to you because you are so busy. You have no time to go on dates, or talk to them, or even notice they are desperately trying to get your attention.

This is an excuse because it's something you cause yourself. There is always time to do something if you make time. And what would you rather make time for than nurturing a relationship that has a lot of potential!

So take the time out to talk to your love interest and really spend some quality time with them as often as you can. They will appreciate it and you will find that no one will slip away because you didn't make time for them.

Not Paying Attention To Them

If you are missing their clues that they are giving about their attraction towards you, or not paying attention to what they really are looking for from you, then there's a good chance you are going to lose them and their interest.

Keep your eyes and ears open and stay on alert to their signals about how they are feeling. This will let you know whether you are ruining the relationship or moving on the right track.

Not Making a Good Impression With Them

You obviously made a decent first impression with them, or else they wouldn't be attracted to you, but you may have been doing and saying all the wrong things since then and they are quickly starting to question whether you are worth it or not.

Some examples are always being in a bad mood, complaining about other people, not taking care of your physical appearance, showing huge signs of laziness, or treating them with disrespect.

Try to keep yourself in check when you're around people you are interested in. Be positive, uplifting, polite, compassionate, and take care of your appearance.

Not Understanding The Signs From Them

It may be a simple case of you not noticing how much they are really attracted to you. You may think you are misreading them and their signs, so you back off from the relationship to avoid getting hurt or looking stupid.

The problem with this is that they will read you're backing off as a sign that you are not interested in them! And they may pack their attraction up and move elsewhere quickly to avoid getting hurt and looking stupid as well.

So if you think they are giving you signs of their interest and attraction towards you, then make sure to act on those signs no matter how unsure you are. It's better to know for sure than to let them get away because of your fear.
