6 Make a good gun mount
Practice your gun mount together with a proved empty gun. Think of the bird coming into view, move towards it, mount the gun and swing to the tempo. Almost all shooters never bothered to practice their gun mount and swing before they go pheasant shooting.

Several shooters do cant the barrels over in their shooting and also if this works for you fine I would recommend a methodical approach.
