Dubai Sports City & Palm Dubai Villas
Written by Daniel McCain
Dubai sports city and the palm Dubai villas bring to mind a feeling of the royalty and exclusiveness. To a keen real estate investor, the names sound as must-have pieces of property in the ever so growing real estate market of the small emirate Dubai. The city boasts the world’s leading specimens of the architecture; be it contemporary or futuristic and once such example is the Jumeirah residence. Dubai has taken on many daring mega projects and has successfully completed them. The city has transformed into a bustling financial hub in the span of a few decades.
Since the expansion of modern Dubai, the city has strived hard to capitalize the real estate sector. It has many theme based areas out of which one of the most ambitious projects to date with respect to sports and sport science is the Dubai Sports City; its houses an d facilities are the finest known to man. From world class sports fields to Olympic standard training and event facilities, it is surely on an accomplished sports man’s map book. The supposed bid for the 2016 summer Olympics has pushed the purpose built city further into the limelight, but eventually Dubai did not submit the bid leading much displeasure to the people of the city.
Apart from sports, the mega project boasts various residential projects that offer state-of-the-art living within the sports city. The residences have top quality infrastructure along with all the best possible amenities including world class schools and medical care facilities. The mega project has cost its holding company Dubai properties in the region of $4-5 billion upon its completion. The majority of its development started in 2004 and the expected completion date of total project is the end of 2011. The quality provided and maintained by the developer is ever praiseworthy and can leave people spell-bound.
The other most awesome mega project that the city of Dubai harbors in its nest is the Palm Islands, also known as The Palm Dubai. This modern mega project adds some 520 square kilometers of reclaimed shoreline. The island consists of an artificial archipelago that is shaped to look like the Palm tree and a moon in its crescent stage. The area now known as the palm islands was reclaimed by filling up the sea-bed with millions of tons of rock orchestrated perfectly by the well known developers the Nakheel properties. The developer has used most modern construction techniques known and at times have even exceeded their own expectations. Armed with the latest and advanced machinery known to man, they set out to develop one of the histories in the real estate market. The Palm Jebel Ali, The Palm Jumeirah residence and Palm Deira are the parts of The Dubai Palm.
Owning palm Dubai villas signify and epitomize the royalty and success. Many famous Hollywood stars have been keen to buy their chunk in this sought after locale. Many other political and business personalities own palm Dubai villas taking their lifestyle to the ultimate level. The project features a fantastic shoreline along with several private beaches. The developer also provides a monorail link to the mainland that originates from within palm islands.
