Duck hunters will be on the prowl from Nov 2020 to Jan 2021, where are you? Memories of Duck Hunting Seasons are among the best in the lot. For me, a worthwhile waterfowl season equates to a full harvest in my bag. Each year brings in new tidings and hopes for a better season. 2020 is no different. This year has been crazy so far. Therefore, the idea of taking a few days off in the wild is a big lure. Just the other day, a group of hunters chatted me up about conservation, wildlife and the economy. A part of the proceeds is used for funding state projects and agencies or duck/ waterfowl breeding grounds. Results! It’s heartening to note how the National Wildlife Refuge System impacts local economies through hunting, conservation and other recreational activities. More than 34,000 U.S. jobs find support in them, especially in the rural areas. The annual collections range between $2.1 billion and $4.2 billion.
