Robotics in surgery – The ultimate control with precisio
New visions are evolving to offer excellent facilities to patients suffering from ailments. The introduction of robotics in medical science has proven to be a leading step in accurate surgeries with minimum invasion. The Da Vinci system of surgeries has two main components.
- Surgical console - This is the most unique system of complete control during the surgery. In the surgical console, surgeon’s movements are transmitted to the arms of the robot. A three dimensional vision is available to facilitate accurate surgeries.
- Patient Cart - This is the second important aspect of the Da Vinci system. This place positions the patient during the surgery. Depending on the type of the system two, three or four robotic arms operate on a patient. The pivot movement of the arms helps in reduced trauma and helps in faster post-surgery improvement. Several checks ensure to prevent unwanted movement of the arm during surgery.
The automated surgery system, the Da Vinci surgery system, has numerous benefits to offer than the regular invasive surgical methods. The technique of laparoscopic surgeries is highly effective with the latest trend. Automation helps in every stream of life. The inception of robotics in surgeries marks the beginning of a new era.
