The deal allows labels more flexibility on albums available, especially for premium users, while Spotify receives a reduction on royalties’ payments. Warner Music’s chief executive also declared that the company desires to create a fair and healthy competitive ecosystem and that the key is to collaborate and create differences in subscriptions and ad-supported models.
