Effective Natural Herbal Treatment to Cure Hyperacidity

Hyperacidity or acid dyspepsia refers to an excessive presence of harmful acid in stomach. This condition must be permanently and effectively cured because if the harmful acid stays too much in the stomach it might lead to more severe health problems.

Without acids the digestion process could not take place. They have the role to break down the food that reaches in the stomach so that to be easily digested. Due to many and different factors gastric glands produce a larger amount of acid than required facilitating the apparition of hyperacidity.

Lifestyle patterns, stress some types of food, drinks like alcohol, coffee, tea, smoking, sleeping patterns and not only can lead to hyperacidity problems. In order to benefited by an efficient and permanent treatment it is very important to determine the roots of the problem. Of course that there are many remedies that can cure the hyperacidity but if the main cause is not identified, you will be benefited only for a short time relief.

Buttermilk has proved to be very beneficial in combating hyperacidity. Have some buttermilk after your meals and you will be benefited by a permanent treatment. Eat jaggery or suck clove after meals and you will prevent the apparition of hyperacidity.

Lemon is acidic in its nature but it has good acid and digestive enzymes. Drink a glass of lemon juice mixed with a teaspoon of honey after every meal to prevent hyperacidity. This remedy has the great property to help the digestive process and to nullify the harmful acid from our stomach.

The persons that have hyperacidity problems should decrease the consumption of non vegetal food and increase the consumption of fruits and vegetable. A regular intake of bananas, apples, figs, water melon, papaya, guava and cucumber will prevent successfully hyperacidity.

Water consumption is very important not only to prevent hyperacidity but also for a good health. It is recommended to drink 2 liters of water daily. Fried food or spicy food might provoke hyperacidity so it is recommended to avoid this kind of food.

Ginger is a great natural remedy. Its therapeutic properties are known since the antiquity. It is used in treating many stomach and digestive problems. It behaves as a great digestive aid. Drinking ginger tea or ginger juice daily will escape you from hyperacidity. You can also use it in its raw form in salads and you can merely chew it. Cooked ginger has the same curative effects in combating hyperacidity.

Mint tea or mint juice is another natural solution to treat hyperacidity. Drink a glass of mint tea or juice after your main meals. Apple cider vinegar is also a good and permanent remedy. Mix two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with a glass of water and drink it daily. You can also mix two teaspoons of honey with one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. Take this mixture after every main meal.

Cold water or milk offers and immediate relief. The water or the milk must be swallowed with small sips. Do this even from the first signs of a hyperacidity attack.
