There are many reasons why any of the person become painkiller addiction while taking narcotic medication or any of the painkiller. Some of the important reasons are:
1.Taking painkillers can provide you pleasure: when any one is in great pain and it becomes necessary for him or her to take narcotic medication or pain killer. After taking this medicine, it gives relief to him or her. Gradually this becomes habit of a person and he or she gets pleasure while taking pain killer. When you seek repeated experience of pleasure through this pain killer addiction behavior then it means that you have become addictive to this.
2.Taking painkillers keep you at a distance from emotional pain: even by taking pain killers, people may be at a distance from their emotional pain. Having painful emotions is the compulsory part of our life but we can manage this with counseling. Even the people who are in physical pain suffer from emotional trauma and they just get attracted towards the pain killer medications. Over the period by taking painkiller continuously they become addicted to it and these painkiller medications help them to treat their negative emotions.
3.You will get relax by taking painkiller medication: many people undergo the natural way of relaxation like by doing yoga or meditation when they suffer from any type of pain. But these painkiller medications also provide you relief from the physical pain as well as from the stress and tension. Later on you start enjoying taking the painkillers to get relief from these stresses and tension and also the cause which causes pain.
