Love of Self: Life and Relationships
We all search for love throughout our lives, seeking peace and contentment in the choices we make. This book addresses what I personally think are the three most important areas of love: love of self, love of life and relationship love.
Although at times these three areas overlap and merge, searching for answers to the ultimate love must, of necessity, begin with oneself. Looking deep into oneself is perhaps the most difficult road in finding love. It has been found that if a person truly has a deep and abiding love of self, they will be more secure in all areas of profound love.
Love of life is based upon the personal attitudes of joy, happiness, pleasure and commitment. Learning to enjoy the little things as well as wonders of nature, the earth and our surroundings can bring a multitude of awareness and brighten our personal world. Sharing these feelings with others will enrich and enlighten their lives as well as your own.
Relationship love is the most fragile of loves. It is based upon our expectations that are rarely realized, but sought on a continual basis. Finding ones “soulmate” is the theme used in books, drama and music, and frankly it is something quite rare – but when discovered, it is one of the most magical and fulfilling measures of love.
In Judith Goffin’s latest book Embracing Love the poetry v will amuse, entertain and sometimes bring tears, as it is comprised of mystical images from my own personal experiences, but it is also an allegory of words others have spoken to me, which I have carefully captured.
Goffin comments, it is my hope that this book will bring you closer to your own personal dreams of unconditional and perfect love.
