Arthur's Seat

Named after Arthur Malet, it is 12 kms away from main market. People consider it the best of all points and a must visit of Mahabaleshwar tourism. This is the only place that displays geographical distinction of Kokan & Desh-the two territories of the place. It resembles to an elephant's head from southern side. Wilson Point

Mostly known as Sunrise Point, it is a vast plateau. Three masonry round platforms are there to view the sunrise. Other points can be seen from this point include Elphinstone Point, Kshetra Mahabaleshwar and Connaught Pick Point. Pratapgarh Fort

It is the place from where the history of Shivaji, the Maratha Emperor transformed into a conclusive course. Afzal Khan met his death at the place. Situated 24 km west of Mahabaleshwar, the fort is 900 m above sea level. Built in 1656, the fort is a maze of chambers, ponds and long dark paths.

Connaught Peak

Located seven km from Mahabaleshwar market, it is the second highest point in Mahabaleshwar. It offers the breathtaking views of a green carpet.
