Euro 2012 Group B Study Analysis

In Group B or also known as the Sudden Death of the Euro 2012 consists of Germany, Denmark, Netherlands and Portugal. Here are the analysis of each team in Group B

Denmark: Denmark is surely not a bad side. It has got a lot of young talent in the team and surprisingly they finished above Portugal in the Euro 2012 qualifying. They kept in some amazing performance along the way by beating Portugal at home 2-1 which sealed their passage in the Euro 2012 finals but unfortunately losing away at Portugal's home 3-1. Denmark have always been the fans favorites (including mine) with their tough and never giving up spirits but let us be abit realistic, they have been kept in a very tough draw. Lets say they even win against Portugal in a neutral field, yet they have to take on the mighty Germans and the Dutch. At the moment they look fourth best but let us see what they are capable off in the live Euro 2012.

Portugal: A team that has always produced great legends. One of them is Luis Figo who is still remembered by the footballing world. Others are Pauleta, Pinto, Simoes, Rui Costa. Yet even after so many legends, the team is mostly renowned for only player, Cristiano Ronaldo who is just a superb player to watch individually when playing for Real Madrid but most of the time under performs when playing for his National side and tries to be too selfish. If you see the past Euro 2012 Highlights in the qualifying rounds, He almost made a mess drawing at Cyprus 4-4 and conceding three goals at home to Iceland which eventually they won 5-3. They got really lucky in the playoff draw as they got a weaker team Bosnia which were mauled 6-2. I personally wouldn't be amazed if they don't qualify for the knockout phase and continue their mediocre performances in the Live Euro 2012. Prediction, may come fourth if Denmark surely can dominate over them.

Netherlands: Netherlands can say one of the strongest team in this group phase. Had an outstanding run to the World Cup finals 2010 after being beaten 1-0 against Spain, tore, destroyed teams in a difficult group in the Euro 2008 before shockingly getting knocked out by Russia 3-1 in extra time in the quarters. They also crusied through the Euro 2012 qualifying winning their first nine matches before finally losing away to Sweden in the final round but they had already booked their ticket to the Live Euro 2012 finals in Poland//Ukraine. Off course with the quality strikers they have got such as Van Persie who won the PFA Player of the year and Huntellar, Sneijder and Robben dominating the midfield arena, there will be goals galore in this group as well Euro 2012 highlights filled with breath-taking and mesmerizing goals. The only weak point i can see in their side is the defense. Predicting to come second in the group

Germany: Germany which is said to be the Baye
Munich of the country is filled with young talent as well with vast of experienced players. Definetly one of the major favorites to win the Euro 2012 trophy. Also another team which have been runner ups both in the World Cups and Euro's in past seasons. Their striking ability also looks in top notch with Tomas Muller already winning the golden boot award in Bundesliga plus also Klose and along the wing, Podolski looking to terrorize the right and left full backs of the opposition. Defense is filled with experience, Mertesacker with his long legs and heading ability and once again Philip Lahm taking the Captain's armband . Germany earned 30 points out of 30 games in the Euro 2012 qualifying rounds thumping Turkey, Austria and Belgium along the way. My prediction, will finish at the top of the group winning all their three matches.

In conclusion, me personally cannot wait to for the Live Euro 2012 to start and it especially this group will be filled with thrilling Euro 2012 highlights
