Event Technology: Popular Tricks To Get The Implementation Right
Written by Kaushal Shah
- Research your way to glory: We are sure you have heard several times just how critical research is and how it helps one make the best decisions, no matter what it is about. This philosophy is extended to the implementation of event technology as well; if you want to ensure that the event technology is a productive decision for you, do your research. Look for alternatives in the market, talk to experts, get reviews and feedback from people who have already used it.
- Testing is vital: This one is so obvious, one would think it is pointless to mention it here. Unfortunately, there are far too many event planners who end up ignoring this step altogether. Whatever the reason might be, the fact remains that testing the technology before you implement it is essential because it allows you to identify any possible problems before you go live with it.
- Decide on a timeline: We don't have to tell you just how time-consuming a process the implementation of new technology is. But given that the industry typically doesn't operate on flexible schedules and timelines, it becomes vital to ensure that you know exactly how the process will move, how long it will take, and more. Figure out a schedule with the vendor, see to it that they agree it is viable, and only then go ahead with adopting the technology.
