Take a deep breath and join me as we travel back to May 6, 1954 in England where twenty-five mile winds subsided as “the race” began. Soon it was announced that Roger Bannister had cracked the myth of the four minute mile, winning the race in 3:59.4.

What was once deemed impossible became common-place. Time has proven that barriers like the four minute mile have been surpassed with better training, better nutrition, and a better understanding of what can be done.

That’s what today’s executive coaching is about.
Just ask Jack Welch. He was an advocate for coaching when it was still in its infancy and now most Fortune 500 companies provide coaching to multiple levels of their management teams. Individuals report they are calmer, more introspective, and more collaborative. The companies report less absenteeism, limited litigation, and there is an upsurge of sales, profits, and employee satisfaction.

Our Pattern Aware Coaching ™ adds another important layer to the mix. It is a revolutionary breakthrough model that moves individuals, teams, and organizations through the complexity of interpersonal relationships at work quickly and effectively. And the added benefit is what is learned here works amazingly well at home.

Using our OUT Technique ™ each client learns to OBSERVE their own preconditioned patterns and perceptions that can cause the typical button pushing and frayed nerves from office politics. They then learn to UNDERSTAND where the patterns began in their original organization, the family. With the on-going help of the coach they go for the gold and TRANSFORM these patterns to their positive opposites.
Good News: when the cycle of pattern repetition is broken burdensome baggage from the past is replaced with renewed vitality and energy. That’s what happened to Lucille, a director of a health care business unit who had a tendency to behave as a persecutor. She was seen as a real bully who judged and micromanaged her direct reports. Once she used the OUT Technique she quickly saw the roots of this pattern in her childhood. As a little girl when she demanded, her parents gave in just to “shut her up”. What worked for her as a kid, was derailing her success as an adult.

More Good News: you do not just label the behaviors and learn to live with them. You change them and that change is sustainable. This method has been in place for over twenty years and our research shows that once you tackle a pattern to the ground it no longer has power over you.
So, like Lucille, you change. For her the persecutor/bully transformed to a visionary who, instead of poking a finger in your chest learns to point that finger to the sky to show what is possible.

Once you can name the patterns (there are 13) and see how the formula works to flip them from annoying to awesome you can both work on yourself and also help those you manage on your team.

Think of this as “Roger Bannister coaching”. You‘ll learn to break the “don’t even think about it” barrier and be a leader who wins the game of work with awards and confidence.
For your convenience we have created a number of coaching options to fit every budget. We also have a PatternAware™ Coaching School for human resource practitioners, organizational trainers, and those who want to have a rewarding career and join us pattern pioneer coaches. We are spreading the word to make the world not just emotionally intelligent, also pattern aware. It’s about you, it’s about me, and it’s about time!
