The thing about anxiety and panic attacks is the lonileness that the sufferer feels. Having constant panic attacks makes you feel alone and like you are the only person in the world going through your private hell. I suffered like this for many years of my life, afraid to do anything or see anyone because I had extreme panic and agoraphobia.

I had to have a bunch of blood tests done so that he could rule out any possible health conditions that may have been making me feel the way I was, but that was all pretty easy.

Once we determined that I was safe from death, he helped me get into an exercise regime that really helped get some of my anxiety under control. I still didn't like that I had something "wrong" with me, but I was slowly but surely feeling better than I had in years.

There is something to be said for how good it makes you feel to know that you are not losing your mind when you have this disorder. That knowledge is the key to really making the changes necessary so that you can learn how to cure anxiety for good, and without being addicted to a medication.

I started to find that if I felt a bit anxious, I could so some really simple things to calm me down. I took up running and found that the more tired-out I got after a workout, the more calm I would feel a few minutes later. I'm not saying run a mile everytime you feel anxious, but if you can do any kind of exercise when you feel a panic attack coming on, it can really make a big difference in your mood.

Exercising produces serotonin in your body, which is responsible for your mood. So it only makes sense that regular exercise will increase your mood in a totally natural way, and keep you much calmer than you would think.
