Goa is a state in India known for its breathtaking and overwhelming beaches. People from all over the globe visit this state just to explore and take pleasure of its beautiful beaches. The beaches of Goa provide a soothing atmosphere to its visitors who from their busy life come to relax in Goa. One can also relish the delicious and mouthwatering Goan cuisine in the restaurants on the beach. Sea- food is quite popular and full of flavor in Goa. There are numerous beaches in the state and Goa has a coastline of 103 kilometers. The beaches are divided into northern and southern parts depending on their location. Some of the popular beaches to visit in Goa are Candolim, Anjuna, Palolem, Baga, Mabor, Aguada, Dona Paula, Miramar, Colva- Benaulim and Varca/Cavelossium.
The Candolim beach is located in the northern part of the state Goa. Candolim is one of the popular beaches in Goa and is easily approachable from Panaji the capital city of Goa. One should try the Goan food accessible in the beach shacks. One should carry an umbrella in order to prevent himself from the scorching heat. Many people come to meditate on the beach, so one can enjoy doing meditation here. One can also indulge himself in fishing and other adventurous sports such as Parasailing, Swimming, Motor Scooter and Water skiing.
The Palolem Beach is also called as the Paradise Beach as it has the most dazzling seashore in the whole Goa. One can stay in the huts provided on the beach to make the stay more charming and memorable. The beach offers an array of exciting activities such as boat cruises, diving, bike tours and much more. The local restaurants on the beach have exciting cuisine on their menu card and serve the famous alcoholic beverage fenny which is a trendy drink of Goa. The Baga beach is quite known for its adventurous water activities and if one is fond of fishing. The safe and sound splendor of the beach attracts a lot of tourists. Moreover there is a stunning retreat house tranquilly situated on the hill top. The beach also has lovely pizzerias and terrace cafes. One can also go for a candle light dinner in the beach shacks.
The Mabor Beach is one of the State’s most sparkling and calm beaches. The beach is well known for its night parties and celebrations. The beach also has many deluxe and luxury hotels. Beach activities like parasailing, biking and bump rides are quite accepted. The beach shacks offer tasty and a variety of Goan dishes one should go for. The renowned chronological site Aquada Fort is found near the famous Aquada beach which was created by the Portuguese. This area also has many other legendary Forts and Churches for a person to visit. One can spend a serene and peaceful time just by watching the glittering waves of the sea.
The Anjuna Beach is known for hosting late night beach parties and is all the rage destination of delight among youngsters. One can enjoy shopping in the local markets near the beach where you will find a variety of goods. Having coconut water is a must on any of the beaches of Goa. So for that reason it becomes important to visit the beaches of Goa.
