Counted among the most beautiful states of the India, Kerala holds the crown of 'Land of God' or 'God's Own Land'. These titles describe the state itself. The state boasts of natural beauty. Be it backwater, hills, rivers, beaches or wildlife, the state is rich in everything. High and rugged Ghats of the state created a number of hill stations. A large number of hill stations on Kerala allure tourists from all over the world, especially during summer season.

Munnar

Munnar is a popular hill station in Kerala. Located at the confluence of three serpent rivers, the region is a extremely beautiful. Combination of Nallathani, Kundale and Muthirapuzha makes Munnar a visual delight. Munnar enjoys salubrious weather and in winters temperature dips between 0 and 10 degrees. This beautiful gem of Kerala boasts of breathtaking views and adventures areas. Those who have adventure buds, Munnar offers them aero sports, trekking and rock climbing. Major attractions of Munnar include Mattupetty and Marayoor. Neelakurinji flower also contributes in making the city popular. This flower blooms only once in twelve years.

Chembra Peak

The highest peak in Wayanad adjoining Nilgiri Hills is another attraction of the state. Accessible by foot from Meppady, this peak is famous for its salubrious weather and a heart-shaped lake that lies on the way to top of this peak. Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary offers you a chance to have a close look to the raw life of the nature. For trekkers, Thekkady have numerous treks. Mangladevi temple is another famous spot in Thekkady.

Besides these, Kerala offers you the opportunity to explore Devikulam, Lakkidi, Mattupetty, Peruvannamuzhi, Wagamon, Pythal Mala, Vythiri, Nellyampathy and Ponmudi. Rich culture and warm hospitality add some more flavour to the trip.
