Written by James Blunt
Facebook out another series of changes in its social networking platform, causing uproar among many users and again to teach internet marketers. In particular, the News Service, where Facebook users can see updates from people on your network, received a major overhaul, which could potentially affect their Facebook marketing strategy.
Facebook marketing changes every internet marketer should know
New Service News: Facebook no longer shows all the updates from people in your network. Instead, use an algorithm to select the updates that will last news of each user, which is the first thing a user sees when he or she is connected to Facebook. Factors such as the relationship between you and the author, the number of comments and likes, and determine the relevance of an update or inclusion in the Top Stories. A later update may qualify as one of the latest news when it gets more than he likes or comments.
Smart Lists: On the other hand, users now have tools to exercise greater control over what they see in your News Feed. "Smart Lists" allows users to create lists in accordance with "close friends", "known" and "restricted". When this list is full, the updates only from people in "close friends" appears in the user's News Feed. This can be potentially harmful to the merchants whose links are more likely than professionals "close."
Subscribe option: Users can now choose to subscribe to all or only the most important updates of specific users. This will force Internet marketers to create highly relevant and useful content, and maintain self-promotion activities to a minimum in order to obtain the subscription of users.
The elimination of automatic food: Pages (before fan pages) that once enjoyed the automatic publication of posts and articles published in blogs and exte
al websites. This was possible thanks to the option to sync notes that the Internet and Facebook pages without any additional action on the Facebook wall. From September 30, the pages will not automatically publish the news websites and blogs built. Owners pages now have to put new stories on the walls of your page to notify users of the fans and the articles of the new website or content.
