Video Marketing with Facebook; business promotion that educates and converts viewers to customers.

If you've ever thought about marketing your business with video, you will definitely want to consider Facebook as another tool to create tremendous exposure for your services or products. Over the last 3 years there has been an explosion in social networking and social media sites. The meteoric rise in social networking has created many financial opportunities for marketers and entrepreneurs because of the endless amount of sites that can be used for leveraging business. Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, all have hundreds of thousands of new members signing up every day to network, chat, play games or send messages. You can get your message in front of a lot of people by creating a video marketing campaign that ultimately drives traffic to your site.

Facebook is an excellent site to market your videos and with proper exposure, you can lead viewers back to your website to learn more about your services or products.
There are various techniques you can use Facebook video for to promote your business? I'll cover a few of the techniques you can use to promote your business and in the process gain more traffic for your website to which can be converted to new sales.

It goes without saying, you need to upload your video on Facebook on your profile page so you can promote your message for everyone to view. Your video needs to educate and entertain the viewer while focusing attention on your products and services with the ultimate goal of driving traffic from your Facebook profile page to your website.
If you have a niche market and have expertise in this niche, consider creating a video series on "how to". By offering education and/or advice, you raise the awareness of your company and engage the viewer into taking action from what they learn. A perfect example would be if you were an expert in growing large tomato's, you could take people through the process of planting to growing, and then harvesting fresh tomato's. The series could be 3-6 videos depending on the amount of time you needed.

To expand on your niche even further, you can design your Facebook video to focus on building credibility around your expertise. Every viewer that sees your video wants to validate your credibility, your "like" factor, and in the process you earn their trust. So you can create a series of videos where you discuss all the newest developments, trends, and issues as they pertain to your niche. Directing viewers to a forum or creating a survey asking their opinion is also very helpful.

Your video marketing doesn't have to focus on advertising alone, in fact, you can use Facebook video to increase your a) credibility as an expert, b) build trust by using video testimonials from existing clients, and c) validate the legitimacy of your business.

Your marketing campaign can also concentrate on a series of reviews about the services or products that you offer in your niche. Creating reviews on your services or products and demonstrating how to use them is also a great method of promotion. If there is something unique about your service or product that provides more perceived value than your competition, then explain it with video, but make sure you can back it up.

When you think about Facebook, think of it as a platform to provide video blogs to share your knowledge, ideas, and opinions. Your videos need to sell your company indirectly instead of the direct approach. Remember the old adage " People don't care how much you know, they want to know how much you care". When you demonstrate that you truly care about helping others through the services or product you offer, you'll earn their trust and they'll more than likely buy from you.

So you need to remember that with everything you promote as it pertains to social networking, you want to avoid the perception of being a spammer. If you're tagged as a spammer, word will get around real quick and you can forget about people having any interest in you, your company, or the message you're trying to deliver. So keep in mind the constant need to deliver a balanced menu of good information, good education to your viewers while indirectly promoting your products or services.
