Facts About Facial Mole Removal
Moles or warts on the face are a source of much misery and shame in the lives of many of those people who have them. The face is the most visually exposed area of the body and any blemishes appearing here are easily noticeable. They are noticeable and can easily cause emotional distress. For many people, the moles on their skins are ugly, thus causing them to seek facial mole removal.
The composition of a mole is actually clusters of normal skin pigment cells. The cells are normally spread out evenly all over the skin in every human being. In some cases however, when some kind of change occurs in the body, these pigment cells group together forming clusters referred to as warts. While some are easily treated and reversed, others are more complicated and harder to treat.
In order to treat this condition, a doctor needs to be consulted. The doctor will carry out an examination of the moles and recommend an appropriate course of action to be taken to eliminate this problem. There are a number of measures that can be taken, but they are broadly categorized into natural methods and surgical removal.
When it comes to treatment of facial warts, the safest and cheapest way to get rid of them is by the use of natural methods. These are preferred to the surgical or chemical methods. It is also cheap and they can be discontinued without risk of withdrawal symptoms. They consist of tea tree oil, baking soda, sour apple, dandelion roots and onion juice.
The sour apple, onion and dandelion roots are squeezed to extract their juice which is then applied directly onto the mole using a cotton swab. The baking soda is usually dissolved in some solvent like vinegar to form a paste which is then applied using the same means as the others. The tea tree and castor oils are already in liquid form and are applied directly without any preparation on the mole.
Most of the times this condition is not of any threat to the life and health of anyone who has them. This is however not always the case. Warts may at times pose serious health conce
s. Removal surgery then becomes an option. There are different forms of this method.
Laser removal does not involve any cutting. This ensures fast healing and no scars. Excision stitches is a method used if a sample is required for analysis. The whole wart is cut off and stitches are used. This method will leave a scar as there is cutting involved. Cauterization is yet another way and involves burning off the mole. There is no cutting involved and thus no scar is left.
Shave biopsy and cryosurgery are two other surgical methods. Cryosurgery is the placing of a freezing liquid into the heart of the wart, killing the errant cells that constitute it. There is no cutting involved thus no scarring. Shave biopsy is a common way which is done for those spots that stick out above the skin. It includes using a scalpel to lift the whole mole and then the underside is burned to prevent bleeding.
