The origin of the Chihuahua Teacup Puppies belongs to the regions of South America, Mexico and Central America. The puppies of this breed are named after the state of Mexico, ‘Chihuahua’. The Chihuahua breed has been registered by the American Kennel Club as a pet dog breed in the year 1904.In the present time, the Chihuahua has been identified as an interesting foreign pet. The Chihuahua teacup puppies are very small and fall under the category of the "Toy Dog Group”. The male Chihuahua size varies from 15 to 23 centimeters tall and the female Chihuahua size varies from 15 to 20 centimeters. The weight of both the male as well as female Chihuahua puppies varies between 1to 3 kgs. The Chihuahua pups are available in colors of gray, black, white and chocolate tan. They have an apple shaped head and a pointed ears. These specifications make them unique among other breeds. Again in the Chihuahua, there are the long haired and the short haired breed. The term "Teacup Chihuahua" is not recognized officially by organizations such as the British Kennel Club or the American Kennel Club but the term is used for identifying the smallest Chihuahua teacup puppies. The Chihuahuas are very loyal pets and they are very good friends of their owners. The Chihuahua puppies and the teacup Chihuahuas are almost identical in all the ways, only their size varies. That is, the teacup Chihuahua puppies are much smaller than the Chihuahua puppies. So the people prefer the most little Chihuahuas because these puppies look very cute because of their tiny size. The Teacup Dogs Agility Association has also registered these breed under the category of "Toy Dog Group". The Chihuahua teacup puppies are not that cheap.
