Fashion: Whatâs In This Summer?
Written by Lloyd Arthur
Summer is well underway and you can enjoy this season’s fashion colours and trends. Before you tear another month off your calendar, and begin a new year, how about checking your wardrobe to see if you have the right colours and ensemble for 2012.
The fashion colour palettes change through the seasons but there are some that don’t grow old or out of style, whatever year or season we are in. White for example, if worn in a classy, clean look, can give off a powerful impact. With a touch of minimal, clean design lines or a stylish wardrobe accessory, you are still perfectly in for the season. Whether you go for a top-to-toe white shirt and jeans, or a very feminine flowing white dress, you can still be shaped up for the summer. However you wear it, you can’t go wrong with an all-white outfit. Light neutral colours, like cool and warm taupes and greys, are great for this season as well.
If you’re seeing vibrant colours displayed in boutiques, it’s because bold, bright colours and unusual colour combinations are this summer’s fashion trends. You can choose from this range of 2011-2012 summer colours: red – true red, coral, pink, bright and burnt orange; blue – cobalt, teal blue, pastel blue; green – emerald, teal green, lime, purple, and yellow.
