FAT 32 or NTFS which is better?

FAT and NTFS are the file allocation system used in Windows operating system to manage all the docs file. A file system is an essential part of the operating system responsible for how a doc file is named, stored and organized in the storage space of computer. FAT stands for File Allocation Table and NTFS stands for New Technology File system. In comparison of FAT32, NTFS is better as it offers better security, file compression and encryption features. Thus ensure reliable security and less space disk usage. FAT32 file system is used in Window 98, Window 95, Window XP, Windows 2000, Windows 2003 whereas NTFS is used in Windows Vista, Windows 7 & Windows 8. Fill the checkbox titled as “Compress Contents to save disk space”. This option will enable compression of data which will result less usage of disk space. • Then click on OK button, in the next step CPU will ask whether you want to apply the compression feature to this folder or this folder including its sub folder. It is always recommended to choose the latter option as it allows computer to more save more disk space. Then click on OK button. • After the process is complete close the window. This process will leads to almost 40% disk space compression. You can compare the size of folder after compression or before compression.rnThe compressed folder can be easily identified as compressed folder is named in blue color. If you want to uncompressed them, then you can do it by making a right click on the specified folder. Select Properties and by accessing the advanced option you can revert the changes.
