Old Alabama Town is located in Montgomery, AL and consists of six blocks of the authentic nineteenth and twentieth-century buildings. All of the buildings have been saved from demolition, completely restored as well as opened as a historical museum. The oldest structure is Lucas Tavern. It was built in 1810 and the latest structure was built in 1915. Old Alabama Town is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. At 3:00 pm, the last ticket is sold so that visitors can have time to tour the buildings and grounds. They are closed on Sunday, Christmas Day, Thanksgiving and New Year's Day.
