Georgia has grown in population as well as notoriety since 1996 Olympics. The warm climate that allows for year-long fun makes Georgia the best travel destination. Until you have experienced Georgia in the spring, you have not fully experienced all life has to offer. The beautiful fall colors and cool temperatures, of course, are a close runner up as the best Georgia season.
In Georgia, one of the top Atlanta attractions is the Georgia Aquarium. Other places include Helen, Savannah and the coast of Georgia, and the Stone Mountain, North Georgia Mountains, and for some adrenaline pumping fun visit Six Flags.

Atlanta is a must see, billed as the biggest aquarium on the planet. You can then visit the Coca-Cola museum next door and flavor samples of Coke products sold worldwide. The best time to visit the Aquarium and the Coke museum is during the weekdays because the crowds of people are so dense on the weekends that it is difficult to fully enjoy.

Savannah is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the world and is arguably the most beautiful city in America. There is something for everyone in Savannah from the live oak lined streets to the old houses to the beach. Visit museums, tour homes, eat at amazing restaurants, and stroll the streets to completely appreciate this charming place.
Vacation on up to the North Georgia Mountains and spend the morning driving the Richard B. Russell Scenic Highway before stopping in Helen for lunch as well as some hours of shopping. If it is summer months season, make sure to rent a tube and float down the Chattahoochee River. Do not forget to taste test the fudge, but be warned because it is so good you will probably leave with a pound or two of fudge that is.
Stone Mountain Park is near Atlanta. This park encompasses the popular granite rock that is visible from many areas in Atlanta. You can hike or take a tram to the top of the mountain. Visit the old homes as well as other areas in the park for a full day of fun. Sit back on the lawn at night and watch the spectacular laser show on the side of the mountain.
With a day at Six Flags, you can now end your trip to Georgia. This theme park has been around for about forty years and has delighted various generations of families. A few of the best roller coasters in the world are at Six Flags over Georgia. If you are a little more fearful, do not let the roller coasters frighten you because there are a lot of other fun things to do in Columbus Georgia at Six Flags like some tame rides and great shows.
