Team sports are the ones where you are not just playing with one opponent but instead both sides have a team of athletes. Typical example of team sports would be Baseball, Football, and Basketball etc. These sports not only require good physical fitness but also great team coordination. In fact the key to winning a team sport is having a great understanding and coordination with other players. Not everybody is very good at this particular quality. Many people are great with duet sports such as tennis or badminton but they lack great coordination for team sports.

Therefore it is critical when you are assembling a team for team sport you choose the right players. A right sports partner will have physical, social and psychological skills. It is given that almost any sport requires good physical health. The players should be able to comfortable run and move around without getting exhausted. You should check for this basic quality in your sports partner or team player.

Another important quality that a team sports partner should have is the social nature. Team sports players are constantly talking and socializing with each other when not on the field. It is important that the players know how to get along with each other. This can only happen if the sports partner knows how to socialize with other team members. Although this something very basic and most people are good at it, it is still worth while investigating that the players can socialize with each other.

Besides these it is also important for a sports partner to endure the psychological pressure. In fact being able to handle the mental pressure is even more important than physical pressure for almost all athletes. Players constantly have the pressure to perform better than before and win the games. One can easily see this pressure on players faces during tense moments. This pressure can be very contagious between players. If one player loses hope it quickly affects the other players in the team and pretty soon the whole team loses faith in themselves.
