Jesus Christ Our Messiah will soon be coming for his present saints (the born again - saved), in an event we call "The Rapture" - the “catching away” resurrection, appearing in the clouds/sky, not on earth yet. He will also be coming back to earth from Heaven later, with his saints, setting his feet on the ground with them to execute judgment on the ungodly (Jude 1:15). This will be to usher-in a 1,000-year time of peace, with no satanic influence. Eternity forward from this time will include a new earth as well, after Satan is released from imprisonment to tempt those who are willing to be tempted, one final time. He is afterward cast into the Lake of Fire, never to temp, steal, kill or to destroy ever again (John 10:10).

Chapter 24, from Matthew's Gospel, covers a great deal about the tremendous tribulation the earth will see immediately before Jesus Christ’s actual coming back to the earth to reign with his saints for 1,000 years - in an event called the “Millennial Reign” of The Lord. Afterward a final Judgment of those who would never accept Jesus as their Lord, will take place, called “The Great White Throne Judgment”. While this very famous chapter from Matthew reveals much detail regarding many of these events, there is still much judgment to be seen by the God-haters and blessings to his saints (all saved – Romans 10:13) who love the Lord Jesus and have accepted the gift of eternal life to them.

God’s only begotten Son, died on the cross for our redemption from sin, through His Precious Blood and His resurrection from the dead – a grace provision for Salvation, not of works we have done but God’s gift. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Author's Bio:

I am a graduate of Liberty University (1996) for completion of theological studies (33 college credits), and I completed "Bible Survey" with Assemblies of God - Berean College. I consider myself a "Bapticostal" (a Baptist also having Pentecostal beliefs). Bible studies are one of my most-covered book subjects. I am, however, careful to only address those subjects I believe God has given me correct revelation on. I was a Christian Youth Minister, beginning in 1983 for approximately 18 years. During, between and after youth ministries I served in other church capacities as well, including interim pastoring and retirement home ministry. MOST IMPOTANTLY, I am a redeemed man, who has received salvation by acceptance of Jesus Christ (John 3:16) and what he did for me in shedding his blood and dying for me on the cross, and in his resurrection from the dead, giving me the promise of eternal life, purely by grace; not due to anything I have done, other than to accept it freely.
