Monsoons have a personality of their own which is unique and very special. So you feel like going out dancing in the rain, maybe grab bite or two when you’re out with friends, or some fine comfort food as you catch a ball game while at home.
Monsoons bring respite to earth as the soaring temperatures reduce and you suddenly feel more energized than you ever imagined. The time is nostalgic like none other and you cannot but think of the beautiful days gone by or the beautiful times you’ve spent.
Let’s figure out some ways to make the most of the monsoon season.
1. IT’S THE TIME TO TREK!
With the sun no longer beating on the back, you surely wouldn’t mind a mild drizzle as you choose to pack your backpacks and go for the nice trek in the vicinity you once knew of.
If it is a nice and hilly location, it could create absolute magic as you go ahead with the trip with your family or friends. Pack some nice snacks and cherish the simple joys of trekking in the bounty of nature.
2. A GAME OF FOOTBALL IN THE RAIN!
One might initially believe that going for football in the rainy season is an idea wicked in its underlying nature, but it is something that needs to be experienced to be understood.
The challenge levels might be a shade higher, but if you find a wet field for a nice game of football, it would have its own unique and unparallel charm.
3. DOES BIRD WATCHING DO THE TRICK FOR YOU?
If you have been into bird watching, there is no better time than the monsoons to go ahead with your hobby! A nice walk is in the offing, and did you know that monsoon is the season which brings out beautiful birds from hibernation.
The sights are uniquely pleasant, and it just might be a matter of time before you come to realize that you are actually into photography!
4. SNACKING ON FRIED STUFF AS YOU SIP ON HOT TEA
Some time at home too would work beautifully as you savor the delicacies that the monsoon season has to offer.
Appetite can go on an upward shift during monsoon weather, but there are some simple foods that are sure to tickle the senses and simply unlock the joy centre to see you bounce back to life.
A nice cup of tea would feel just fine, and so would onion bhajia, better if served with dhania pudina chutney.
5. YOU COULD DRIVE DOWN FOR A WEEKEND GETAWAY
Monsoons offer some of the best times for a short trip with your family, and build memories you could cherish for a lifetime! The destination is sure to be less crowded and the weather pleasant as can be.
Sightseeing, long walks, visiting museums or catching a late evening movie at the new metropolis in town, it sure to be a time for some excitement and serious fun!
6. CONSIDERED RAIN DANCING?
With monsoons in the offing, make the best of your porch and spend some beautiful time dancing in the rain. Why not take a drive down to a hep picnic spot which offers lots of lush greens, and take some time out to dance in the rain with some of your best friends!
7. GET UPCLOSE AND PERSONAL!!
