Getting Rid of the "Rust" in Our Body
Written by Tom Buhlinger
We need oxygen to live, but burning oxygen results in oxidation and free radicals bouncing around in our cells, leading to cell damage and intracellular and systemic inflammation. Think of an iron pipe. As time marches on, it begins to rust due to oxidation. The same is true with our body.
Did you know our body is designed with an amazing cell cleanser, detoxifier, free radical neutralizer, and inflammation reducer called glutathione (GSH). It is the most concentrated of all intercellular endogenous antioxidants.
Increasing your glutathione level has also been shown to detoxify and improve liver function, strengthen the immune system, and reduce the chances of developing cancer. Glutathione also works to help improve mental functions, increase energy, improve concentration, permit increased exercise, and improve heart and lung function - just to name a few.
A new patented product has been developed which increases your glutathione level. It’s called MaxGXL, and it was developed with the intention of helping HIV patients increase their immune system.
To understand how MaxGXL® works in the cells, consider the analogy of a forest fire. Your body has up to 100 trillion cells. Each one is subject to the process of oxidation which, like a fire, would destroy the cell if left unchecked. Normal antioxidants, like those found in fruits and vegetables in your diet, can be compared to a firefighting helicopter that scoops up water from a lake and drops it on a patch of burning trees. It might put out a few trees but the rest of the fire continues to burn. The effect of taking MaxGXL®, on the other hand, can be likened to every tree in the forest having its own sprinkler system, drawing water from an underground lake. As soon as a fire begins, the sprinkler system of each tree gets switched on, putting out the fire in every tree in the forest simultaneously.
