Actually, be interested in helping people and your articles will do fine. This form of marketing has been a tried and true strategy for years. Article marketing involves submitting short articles to directories such as Ezine Articles, with permission for others to republish your work on their blog, website or in their email newsletter. In return, you get one or more links back to the site of your choice. Which is, also, great for getting your site ranked in the search engines. Yay, search engines. I'd have to say that one of the hardest but most rewarding long-term forms of marketing is Search Engine Optimization. Search Engine Optimization is making your site easy to find by the search engines like google, bing, and yahoo. It consists of targeting specific keywords that are important to your business online. For example, if you were a dog trainer and had a website. You would want to target keywords like "Dog Training" and use that term alot.
