Gifts of the Spirit
We are spiritual beings experiencing a human experience and we come into this world with gifts from the spiritual realms. We may not be aware of it, but every one of us uses our spiritual gifts in our everyday human experience. For example, all of us has the gift of intuition, it just may be developed into certain degrees. For many of us, we struggle to come to terms with our gifts, we find ourselves confused or not quite sure how we are to use our gifts or just what these gifts are. For some the gift of spirit comes through artwork and crafts, for others it may be clairvoyance, being a medium, or being empathic. All of our gifts work in certain unique ways unlike anyone else, this is what I call our unique soul signature, likened to our fingerprints, there is no-one else on the planet that has your soul’s code. What a beautiful thing to realize! There need not be competition, or saying that one’s gift is better than another. Our gifts are expressed just the way they are to be expressed by ourselves, just because of the spirit being that you are.
We all have unique gifts to share and purposes in this incarnation and we have people in our souls group to share these gifts with. I find that for many when they are not fully expressing their gifts, depression and anxiety rules their lives. They feel something is missing, but they can’t quite put their finger on it and they run around in circles, so to speak, trying to fill this void. Sometimes, with everyday life the inertia of our spiritual sides, just becomes a common practice. We push aside our spiritual self, because we have too many responsibilities in the “real”world, full time job, career, children, bills, and the list goes on, but the uneasiness and that missing feeling continues to lurk underneath the surface. When we connect and accept our unique gifts, then we can connect with our souls group and begin to express and share these gifts with our soul group. The feelings of something missing, has many ties to this soul group. For when one is not fully expressing themselves, the whole group can feel impeded because we are really ONE.
We can help each other progress in our spiritual growth and know that when we help another, we are helping ourselves for there is no other way we can achieve spiritual growth. A Course In Miracles states”No one can receive and understand he has received until he gives. For in the giving his own acceptance of what he received.”
All that is, Goddess, God, however you address the universal source, gives no special favors, and gives no special powers that are not available to everyone. Everyone has their gifts to claim and share with others. It is my hope that you can share yours and claim your spiritual inheritance for no one can fail to do what God/Goddess/All that IS/ has appointed you to do. You may have temporarily forgotten, but it is only takes the holy instant in which you can remember.
I leave you with another quote from A Course in Miracles “Be not afraid. We only start again an ancient journey long ago begun that but seems new. We have begun again upon a road we traveled on before and lost our way a little while. And now we try again.”
What a beautiful thing to try again, it’s okay if we lost our way a little. It’s okay if it’s something we have forgotten. It’s okay to just keep trying. With help from our fellow sister/brother, we can certainly remember our gifts and our purpose and begin to share it with the world.
Blessings,
