#1 No Gluten?

Gluten is the glue that holds everything together, so it must be processed to be removed, then re-processed to add new ingredients that act like “Glue” such as:

Tapioca starch

Potato starch

Soy protein

For example this is from a leading top seller of Gluten Free bread claiming to be healthy, now I don’t know about you but to me this looks like poison!

Ingredients:

Filtered water, brown rice flour, modified tapioca starch, potato starch, tapioca starch, vegetable oil (may contain one or more of the following: sunflower, safflower, non-gmo canola oil), egg whites, evaporated cane juice, tapioca maltodextrin, teff flour, tapioca syrup, yeast (yeast, potato starch), flax seed meal, xanthan gum, salt, baking powder (sodium acid pyrophosphate), sodium bicarbonate corn starch, monocalcium phosphate), mold inhibitor (cultured corn syrup, citric acid), molasses (dry molasses and maltodextrin), enzyme (calcium sulfate, enzymes).

This is something that I know you don’t want to be eating!

#2 Gluten free products actually contain more Carbs than regular bread

Now, I am not against Carbs, I love my sweet potato and wild rice from time to time, but consuming this Frankenstein food with its high sugar content is not a smart choice if you want to stay healthy!

Just look at these numbers, GI (Glycemic index) of

Gluten-free multigrain bread is 79,

Wheat-based version is 62

Gluten-free white bread is 80

wheat-based version 70 (1)

The Gluten Free multigrain bread has a higher GI than the regular wheat base!

#3 Its Nutritionally Dead and Expensive!

Why go through all this trouble of eating a food that does not optimize your health, it’s nutritionally dead, its not real food, it’s highly processed and costs you an arm and a leg to purchase it. Gluten-free bread contains about 1 percent of the recommended daily values for calcium and 2 percent for iron.It also doesn’t contain much of any other nutritional value(2)
What can you Do?

Focus on removing anti-nutrients containing foods from your diet, such as Wheat and Gluten Free products. Replace these with nutrient rich foods like

Organic vegetables

Tubers

Fruit

High quality fermented dairy

Grass fed/free range meat

Wild caught fish

Country eggs.

Like Sean Croxton from underground wellness always says just eat real food JERF!
