Great Prices Now on Outer Banks Vacation Rentals
Written by Miss Kitty
Saving money may not be a priority when you’re vacationing, especially if you go to the expense of renting a home in a popular vacation spot like the Outer Banks NC. But the truth is, money is tight these days, so why not save when you can. That’s not to say you have to be cheap when looking for Outer Banks vacation rentals. Let’s just call it being frugal. In fact, the OBX is one place you know you can save money because you don’t have to stay in a hotel during your vacation. There are many homes for rent that cost you far less than your typical beachfront hotel.
Still, there is money to be saved so that you maximize the amount of money you keep in your pocket on your Outer Banks beach vacation. Just as an example, you may want to reserve your rental home well in advance of your beach vacation because the houses fill up fast, so you could be paying top dollar should you wait until the last minute. Outer Banks vacation rentals have been known to go up five times the cost you would have paid if you had just booked ahead of time.
That said, there are deals that have come to people simply because they withstood the suspense of waiting for the last-minute deals. If you can take the pressure, wait a week or two before your vacation is to start and then check for Outer Banks vacation rentals. You may be able to talk the rental management company into giving you the best deal because they are desperate to put some bodies in the vacant home. Their theory is that it’s better to have people in a house for a lower rent than nobody at all.
Another way to cut costs is to travel in the off-peak times of the year, times like just before summer starts or after summer officially ends. You can save a lot of money by going in early June or late August. From mid-June though mid-August is the prime vacation/tourist season traveling at other times will get you a less expensive rate on your Outer Banks vacation rentals. The rates are even less if you book your beach vacation in April, May, September, or October. The best deals will come when visiting from November through March.
You may also find great deals by asking property management companies, like Kitty Dunes Rentals, if they have special offers on outer banks vacation rentals. Some may provide you with a list of properties that haven’t been booked and will offer you a great deal for your OBX stay.
Check out Kitty Dunes Rentals’ websites for any specials the rental management company may be offering. There, you can find a wealth of information about the Outer Banks, its surroundings, amenities, and the properties that are available. You can also book your Outer Banks beach vacation online. You won’t find an easier way to get your family the beach home of their dreams.
