Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide 6 Information
Written by Russell Foreman
GHRP-6 is a peptide that consists of 28 amino acids. These amino acid signal the body to release growth hormone, or GH. GH has long been recognized to have many different and significant beneficial effects in the human body: decreased body fat, increased muscle mass and composition, and heightened stamina and strength. GH also has the beneficial effect of making the liver release IGF-1, a highly anabolic hormone. This hormone has been linked to the body's efforts to create muscle while simultaneously burning fat. Combined with being a Ghrelin antagonist, studies indicate that GHRP-6 also fights body fat through these methods. This makes it an extremely effective hormone for both fighting body fat as well as building extra muscle mass.
All of these factors make GHRP-6 ideal for body builders and athletes who would like a small boost to help them build muscle and stay in the game longer. Body builders and athletes who use GHRP-6 can use it in addition to their normal supplement routine in an on again / off again cycle. This has the added effect of inducing the body to release its own natural GH and IGF-1, giving the athletes a more natural source of the hormones in addition to the GHRP-6 supplements.
GH and GHRP-6 have also been known to have beneficial side effects that aren't directly linked to muscle building or losing body fat but are welcome effects nonetheless. These effects include stimulation of bone tissue and collagen as well as enhanced immune response systems. This means that GHRP-6 effectively makes your immune system work better and more efficiently. In clinical trials, the most responsive group for immune boosting was older subjects.
